8 things do to with your preschooler

Time goes so fast! before you know it your children are out the door in the world by themselves, time is precious, and preschool years are the best!  children are willing to do almost anything with you and you have to make the time. i believe if you invest time in your children, when your older they will invest time in you!

1.

.Bake together
It's so much fun and as we homeschoolers think how we can turn this into something educational there is lots of ways! There is math in measurements, There is division in cupcakes, not to mention fine motor skills and following instructions ie the recipe! all great skills. Why not find a good cupcake recipe a simple white cake is good, bake it together then whip up some frosting, my kids spent hours decorating cupcakes with frosting and candies, then us moms can have a cuppa and enjoy!

2.

 paint faces and role play!
The best thing you can invest in is a good face painting kit! you can be anybody without spending ridiculous amounts of dough on costumes, cos lets face it kids grow and costumes well.....dont! but we always have face paints!
Here is one of my monkeys, littereally. face painted moneky ! ready for tree climbing, so much more fun when your in charactor!

3.

Have a tickle fight!
just hanging out in bed is fun, but turn it into a tickle fight is hilarious! you have heard laughter is the best medicine but i think the laughter of children is the best everything! when im feeling blue or its just one of those days, cheer everyone up by tickling each other to death!! muahaha.

4.

Teach your children about giving to the less fortunate

Now we told our children about kids who don't have any toys and there little hearts broke inside or something as they gathered up a lot, now i mean a lot of their toys after Christmas and made some kids really happy!
living in Guatemala there is no site short of poverty, around every corner there is someone in need so the importance of teaching your children how to help, or how to make someone happy is a great valuable lesson!

5.

Play with THEIR toys!

A lot of the time we buy toys for our kids and let them get on with it, But in our busy lives its imporant to make time just for them, now i have boys so we play with action figures, footballs, and monster chasing games! but you could easily trade it in with barbies, easy bake ovens, or... whatever you girls play with! but make sure your playing! and not sitting or observing

here is a scenario that we did playing with action figures, funnily enough the cast of kung fu panda are actually Mcdonalds toys! who says good toys are expensive eh!

6.

POOL FUN!

We all love to swim! take your tots to the local pool or outside pool if your blessed like us, to go the the beach house and have fun! throw them in go diving, pretend to fish, learn to swim. the list is endless but its got to be done!

7.

Photobooth!

This is great fun, we went with abuelo (granddad) any chance you get to go in one of these with your kids make sure you do! At the mall you could make agreements like if you let mommy go shopping we will photobooth later!

8.

Draw on your body!!

Let your tots get the pens out washable ofcourse and doodle, my kids wanted to do this at first because of mommys tattoos, and they made their own tattoos! I did these doodles on their feet for fathers day! if you have enough feet you could spell allsorts of things, this is framed and packaged...perfect fathers day gift!

Don't forget to enjoy your children while there young!

have fun :)
